Childbirth Express is intended for those unable to attend a longer childbirth class or as a refresher class for those that have already had a baby. This class provides condensed information about the birth process, comfort measures and potential medical procedures. Class concludes with a maternity tour.

This class is best taken between 28 – 36 weeks of pregnancy.

Families that register for this class typically register for Baby 101: Understanding Your Newborn, Infant Safety, Comfort Essentials and Breastfeeding Basics.

 

This event will be held at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in the Dr. Jack Chang Conference Room located at 2001 North High St., Denver, CO 80205.

It is best to park in the parking facility at 2055 High Street and enter through the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children. Go up the stairs to the second floor and turn right. The room will be straight ahead.

There will be a 30 minute lunch break so please bring a sack lunch or you can purchase lunch somewhere in or near the hospital.

Bring a snack, pen, paper and wear comfortable clothing. 
 

Notification of cancellation must be received at least 7 days (not including the class date) prior to the start date of the class. If cancellation or change is requested less than 7 days (not including the class date) prior, no refund will be given. ( Exceptions can be made due to early delivery of their baby or mother being in the hospital)

This class provides condensed information about the birth process, comfort measures and potential medical procedures. Class concludes with a maternity tour.

This event will be held at Long’s Peak located at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center located at 1719 E. 19th Ave  Denver, CO 80218.

Closest Cross Street: 19th Avenue and Gilpin Street (just one block from Franklin Street). Underground parking available for free across from the main lobby doors. To get to the Long's Peak Room, take the Tower A elevator to the 11th floor. Exit the elevators and there is a door to your right that says it has an alarm on it. Go through this door and all the way up the stairs. The door to the room will be on your right.
