This conference will emphasize new advances in the care and rehabilitation of amputees.  Speakers will address innovations in amputee surgical approaches and technology, early rehab needs and how to progress a patient to higher levels of function and ultimately re-introduction in the community.

Amputee resources will be discussed, as well as support systems an amputee may require to reach maximal function. By working together to provide physical rehabilitation and psychosocial support, a team of specialists can help the amputee reach their goals more efficiently.

Identifying common problems such as plugged ducts, mastitis and increasing your milk supply will also be addressed. A list of community resources will be available to support you upon your return home.
